[Ramza, during most of this time, has been either rushing around to try and gather as many people as he could for sigil stuff, or has been sharpening and using one of the swords from the armoury, either to protect himself or to practice. If he loses his sword skill, what would happen if he returned to Ivalice?

Would he be useless? He's still feeling the toll of the nightmares from before here, after all. Whenever he hears the monsters, he swears he hears his brothers - sometimes even his father - telling him what he's done. He's ruined it. He's nobody, and failed them.

So! You may run into Ramza during the day, where he's spending an odd amount of time in the library when not trying to find people to help with the Blue Sigil - or, at night, where he's making sure to attack as many creatures as he can. He doesn't see them as just animals, but...
