As for the Pokemon who've appeared around Cherrygrove and the town around it - Cherrygrove is known as 'A city where you can smell small flowers and a sea breeze.' Perhaps the smell angle explains the strange cotton-like Pokemon. But if that is the case, I must still wonder for the Pantunde, Raimog, bugs, and Aevis. Though perhaps the Aevis were coming for the bugs - and the bugs came for the smell of the flowers?
